Research
Researchers at SCT will showcase their research outputs, awards and outstanding research ideas on SCTNET. High impact conference and journal papers published by the SCT researchers will be made available for public reading and downloading.

Industry Collaboration Our primary objective is to foster better and closer relationship between IHL (Institutes of Higher Learning) and commercial companies. It serves as a platform for both companies in the ICT industry and Sunway University College to communicate and understand the needs of the real world.

Students Achievement
SCT students are encouraged to participate in competition and activities as part of their extra-curricular activities. This would provide them with invaluable experience that can not be gained through classroom teaching and learning.

Visit to MSC Malaysia Technology Commercialisation Centre, Cyberjaya

SCT has organised a visit to the MSC Malaysia Technology Commercialisation Centre in Cyberjaya on 2 June 2010. The visit was attended by 33 students and 7 staff. MDeC personnel introduced the centre, and programmes available under the Knowledge Worker Devellopment (KWD) and National Unipreneur Development Programme (NUDP). During the visit, the group has also visited two technology labs within the incubator - Sun Microsystems and Microsoft Innovation Center.

SCT Sports Carnival 2010

SCT Sports Carnival 2010 was held successfully on 16 April 2010. The sports carnival was organised by SCT Student Council (SCTSC) and open by the Head of School, Dr Lim Tong Ming. Students from the Foundation in Arts (FIA) were invited to take part and compete with SCT students and staff.

SCT student won consolation prize in photo contest

SCT student, Chew Yu Liang, won consolation Prize in the Counseling Campaign 2010 “Be Drug Free” Photo contest .

Sharing Technology - 21 Mar 2010

A group of 26 students from the School of Computer Technology at Sunway University College donated 17 units of desktop computers to an orang asli community in Kampung Jelintuh, Perak as part of their community service project.

SUN-U Open Day - 13 & 14 Mar 2010

Sunway University College Open Day was held and the crowd turnout was spectacular. It was filled with activities and public talks about courses and future prospects of respective industries

Student Council

SCT Student Council is a group of students made up of representatives from different programmes in SCT. We organize various enjoyable, exciting and meaningful activities throughout the year.

Final Year Project provides students with the oppurtunity to work on IT based projects individually. It allows the student to apply knowledge into different areas of IT and cleverly crafts evaluation and critism on others' work.
